well, since it's an Illinois blog, and I photographed the Illini take down Ohio State in Columbus for a client, I thought I would share a few I kept to myself. And do any of you guys still take pictures?
What are you using to shoot these? Rather, how are you shooting these? I like this technique. I've seen it before. All the world looks like little toys. Lovely.
I used a d200 and an 85 mm 2.8 tilt shift lens. You can also do this type of thing with a 4x5 or 8x10 view camera.
This is the first time I shot with a t/s on digital, I gotta say it brings something new to the situation in that you can never really get 'moments' shooting a 4x5 because it's so slow. Sometimes with a t/s and digital you can.
A lot of people kinda hate this technique, say it isn't 'journalism' ... which it isn't i guess. but it's fun.
where the hell are you and more importantly where are your pictures??
