I'm not sure what you're going for here, but if you're gonna shoot this sorta thing, again I think attention to detail is key. Like using a tripod and straightening things up.

I love photos of empty spaces, don't get me wrong, I just like to see something about it that makes it interesting to me, the light and composition are the main things you have work with. The light here is kinda interesting but I think it would be more effective if you used a tripod, a long exposure and a low iso so you would have better tonal details in the gradations from highlight to shadow.

I don't know what went in to this shot, but it looks like you just stopped, turned your camera verticle, cranked up the iso and snapped. I think more work is warranted for this to work.
