These are some images from a photoessay I recently ran on a tattoo parlor in downtown Champaign. I had to make it into a photoessay because the writer crapped out on me. Aaahhh, writers. Anyway I wrote a haiku to go with it. A tattoo haiku; who could resist?

Hi. Charles here. I'm one of Austin's friends from gd. This is my first post here and before I forgot I wanted to say thanks for the invite.

At the moment, I'm working on a project for the Japan House's 10th anniversary & trying to concentrate on shooting stuff that echoes concepts (japanese beauty, tranquility, simplicity, space, etc) that they teach. Let me know what you think. Thanks
